The healing tent has been treating people and promoting healthy living in london since 2000. We aim to create a space where you can relax and revitalize mind, body and spirit at your convenience no matter who you are, where you are or how busy your lifestyle may be.
We believe that healthy living should be within everyone's reach so we work with local communities and organisations to offer low cost services for people in need as well as offering services for private and corporate clients.
Having an holistic approach, we offer a wide array of healthy living services for diverse clients and work with both individuals and organisations to develop treatment programmes or healthy living strategies for your specific needs. Our aim is to help you make the most of your time, relax and enjoy healthy living.
our peopleAll our therapists and tutors are fully qualified, insured and members of governing bodies for complementary therapies such as itec, igpp or ipti.

our clinic

The full range of our treatments, classes and workshops are available at our clinic in Hackney. Our therapists are doing fantastic work with clients as young as babies to 90 year old people.
The clinic offers discounts for local people in need and work experience opportunities for newly qualified therapists so they can build their confidence working with the public in a professional setting. The clinic brings together our aims of promoting and making complementary therapies more accessible in local communities for those most in need and increasing work experience opporunties for newly qualified therapists.
We're trying to bring colleges, councils, health, employment and education services together to expand this project so if you're interested, please contact us.
awards for community work
In 2004, founder of the Healing Tent, Pete Dixon, was recognised for his work with charities and communities in London with awards for Adult Learner of the Year from the Learning and Skills Council and Outstanding Individual of the Year from NIACE. Mr Dixon said "it's fantastic to receive these awards and be recognised for all the hard work we've done over the years. We still have a lot to do, mainly to increase access to complementary therapies for everyone, rich or poor, old or young."
