T'ai chi is an ancient Chinese system of exercise born from the philosophy of Taoism which has been practised for hundreds of years. It is easy to do, non-strenuous and conditions the body and the mind. With a sequence of continuous, slow, dance-like movements called forms (108 in total!), t'ai chi stimulates and assists your breathing using the entire body; hands, shoulders, elbows, fists, palms, fingers, abdomen, hips, buttocks, feet, legs, knees, toes, sides of feet, soles and even the eyes.
Said to be "for better health, greater happiness and more successful living", t'ai chi is the perfect anti-dote to the fast-paced yet sedentary nature of modern life. You don't need any special equipment and can do t'ai chi anywhere - attend regular classes at our clinic, at your workplace or incorporate t'ai chi into your events.
