upside down, rights of passage and fancies of flight are equilibrium courses for children developed by scarabeus theatre. Encouraging children to enjoy organised movement, the course draws on experience of balance acrobatics, contemporary dance, aerial work, harness and suspensions. Successfully introduced in schools and early years centres in Islington and Hackney, these programmes aim to see children thrive through structured physical contact. By building their trust, self-confidence and openness, the courses form a solid base from which to reinforce children's capacity and joy for learning.
